All after school activities for Wednesday, April 17th have been cancelled due to the threat of severe weather.

BGISD encourages JH and HS parents to attend our Drug Awareness Presentation for Parents presented by the Navarro County Sheriff's Department. Tuesday, April 2nd at 6:30 PM in the auditorium.

Bus #17-1 and #17-2 that pick up and drop off at the Navarro County Youth Expo will pick up and drop off during the week of the NCYE (March 25-29) at the Westhill Church of Christ at 3400 W. Hwy 22.

Join us on Saturday, March 16th at 6:00 PM in the elementary cafeteria for the Blooming Grove Friends of Youth dinner and auction. It will begin with beans, cornbread and dessert followed by a live auction at 6:30 PM.
Blooming Grove 4H, FFA, and FCCLA members showing projects at the Navarro County Youth Expo are encouraged to attend and bring an auction item.

COVER YOUR COUGH
Use a tissue to cover your mouth and nose when you
cough or sneeze. No tissue around? Your sleeve will do.

WASH YOUR HANDS
Wash your hands often. Scrub for at least 20 seconds
with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand cleaner.

STAY HOME
If you get sick, stay home until you’re well so you don’t
spread your germs. Steer clear of others who are sick.

If your child is running fever, keep them home until they have been 24-hours fever free.

We continue to see new and recurring cases of the flu in our area and at Blooming Grove ISD. Throughout the past several weeks, there have been several area districts that have closed due to similar situations. Blooming Grove ISD will be closed on Monday, February 25th. All school activities, practices, and game are cancelled. All facilities will be closed to staff and students.

Our Lions will play Maypearl Tuesday, February 19th at 7:30 PM in the bi-district playoff basketball game. The matchup will be played at Waxahachie Life high school located at 170 Butcher Road off N. Hwy 77 in Waxahachie. Let's cheer on our boys to another victory!

Our BG Lions are in the playoffs! They will play Scurry-Rosser Friday, February 15th at 6PM at the Rice high school gym for the No. 3 or No. 4 playoff seed.
