Blooming Grove Education Foundation Meeting Tuesday, July 30th at 6:00 pm. The focus of this meeting will be to establish a board for the foundation.

BGISD will be celebrating Homecoming Week Monday, August 29th through Friday, September 2nd. All students and staff can participate in our daily events. And you don't want to miss our HoCo Kickoff Parade and Community Pep Rally on Monday, August 29th at 6:30 PM, downtown BG.
Tickets will be available on our website through Online Ticketing. Our Homecoming game will kick off at 7:30 PM against Kemp. Come out and cheer on our Lions and see who gets crowned Homecoming Queen! It's going to be a great week!

Beginning Tuesday, May 31st our office summer hours will be 8:00 am to 3:00 PM. Beginning Friday, June 10th, our offices will be closed every Friday through July.

We are saddened to announce the passing of former board member, Pat Reed. Pat faithfully served this district from 2015 to 2021. She continued to support and serve our students and staff as her health permitted. Pat was a true champion of public education, 4-H, FFA, and FCCLA. Her legacy will be carried on by the many students and parents that she impacted during her life. Pat loved Blooming Grove ISD and she will be missed by this great community.

To her family and friends, we extend our deepest sympathies.

June 13th - June 30th.

High school:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Bus routes will be as follows:

BG will be offering physicals for the 2022-2023 school year on Thursday, May 26th for girls and boys at 1:00 PM in the high school gym. This is required for incoming 7th, 9th, and 11th grade students who plan to participate in athletics or band.
Parents, complete the front of the form and send it with a $20 check/cash with your student. Forms are available at the high school and junior high office. Make checks payable to: Charles Dunnahoe.

Blooming Grove high school OAP competed Friday, April 22nd at Regionals and advanced to State!! They will compete in Austin on Saturday, May 7th. We are proud of their hard work and accomplishment. Break-a-leg OAP!

Today, Friday, May 6th, we celebrate the 10th annual School Lunch Hero Day to
recognize the hardworking professionals in our school cafeteria.
Not only do these heroes prepare our meals, but they also adhere to strict
nutrition standards, keep pesky allergies at a bay, and offer service with a smile.
Every. Single. Day.
The School Lunch Heroes of Blooming Grove ISD use their superpowers to keep you nourished, ready to learn, and energized for your favorite after-school activities!

Bus # 19-1 and #20-1 that pick up and drop off at the Navarro County Youth Expo will pick up and drop off during the week of the NCYE at the Westhill Church of Christ at 3400 W. Hwy 22. This will ONLY be during the Navarro County Youth Expo: March 23-25, March 28-31, and April 1, 2022.

Blooming Grove will be closed on Friday, March 11th, for a scheduled bad weather day. Spring Break will be Monday, March 14th through Friday, March 18th. We hope that everyone enjoys time off and stays safe. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday, March 21st.
