The grant will create a state-of-the-art Nursing Lab equipped with cutting-edge technology and tools, ensuring our students receive the best possible preparation for their nursing certifications. Currently, 18 students are part of our inaugural CTE Nursing cohort, and this grant will prepare them for real-life situations as they progress through their nursing pathway.
This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of Ashlee Crabtree, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, J.P. Gillen, High School Principal, and Emily Cheek, BSN, BG School Nurse and Class Instructor.
Their commitment to launching this program and successfully navigating the grant process has paved the way for our students' bright futures in healthcare.
We are excited to see the impact this program will have on our students and our community. Thank you to everyone who supports Blooming Grove ISD and our mission to prepare students for success! Please read the article below for more information on the JET grant awardees across the state.
