Dear Blooming Grove ISD Families,

Yesterday, social media posts circulated depicting potential threats against schools. However, according to a state law enforcement agency’s release on Tuesday evening, similar threats against multiple school districts across the state have been confirmed as hoaxes. Blooming Grove ISD is not connected to any of these threats.

Our district police and administration team are actively monitoring the situation. We take all threats seriously and want to remind students that such behavior will be met with strict disciplinary action. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. We encourage everyone to report any potential threats immediately to campus administration. Bullying and potential threats can be reported on our district website, www.bgisd.org. 

Please take this time to review our Standard Response Protocol, which has previously been communicated to students, staff, and parents.
