The mandatory band parent meeting for JH and HS will be TONIGHT Wednesday, August 12th. JH will meet from 4:00-6:00 PM for the meeting and instrument drive with Tarpley Music in the Band Hall. HS will meet from 6:00-6:30 PM in the Band Hall. Parents will need to enter through the gate by the auditorium.

Mark your calendars for the first BG FFA meeting of the year! August 17th at 6:30 PM in the BG Ag Building. See the attached flyer for more info!

BGISD Elementary Drop-Off & Pick-Up Update

As we prepare to welcome our students back, we want to share our new Elementary Drop-Off & Pick-Up Map to help everyone have a safe and smooth start to the school year.

🔶 Orange Line: Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, & 2nd Grade
🔷 Blue Line: 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, & 5th Grade

If you have students in both grade groups, please follow the Blue Line first. Our staff will then direct you to the Orange Line to pick up or drop off your younger student(s).

A few important reminders:

Please remain in your vehicle at all times.
Pull forward as far as possible before loading or unloading.
Have students ready to exit or enter the vehicle.
Be patient and courteous as we all learn our new traffic pattern.
Due to the ongoing construction, limited parking, and the need to keep traffic moving safely, parents will not be able to park and walk students into the building on the first days of school. We understand this is a special tradition for many of our younger students and families, and we know this change may be disappointing. However, this decision was made with the safety of our students, staff, and families as our top priority.

The good news is that your children will be in great hands! Our teachers, administrators, and staff will be outside ready to greet students, help them find their classrooms, and make sure everyone gets settled in with lots of smiles and encouragement. We'll take good care of them from the moment they arrive.

As soon as construction is complete and it's safe to welcome visitors back into the building, we'll invite everyone to an Open House so you can walk the halls, visit classrooms, meet with teachers, and see all the great things happening at Blooming Grove Elementary.

We truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and flexibility as we navigate this temporary situation together. The short-term inconvenience will be well worth it as we continue creating an incredible learning environment for our students.
